Well, I suppose if
you want to put a title on it, the closest one would be Southern Baptist.
We are non-denominational.
What we
believe.
Statement of Faith
We believe the Bible to be the
inspired, the only infallible, authoritative Word of God.
We believe that there is one God,
eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
We believe in the deity of our Lord
Jesus Christ, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and
atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His
ascension to the right hand of the Father where He reigns as King, and in
His personal return to earth in power and glory.
We believe that for the salvation
of lost and sinful man, spiritual regeneration by the Holy Spirit is
absolutely essential, and that this salvation is received through
repentance and faith in Jesus Christ as Messiah, Savior and Lord, and not
as a result of good works.
We believe in the present ministry
of the Holy Spirit, by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a
sanctified, godly life, and to perform service pleasing to the Lord.
We believe in private and public
prayer as a relational privilege of grace and as an opportunity and
responsibility to participate with God in the accomplishing of His eternal
purposes in Christ.
We believe in the resurrection of
both the saved and the lost; the saved unto the resurrection of eternal
life, and the lost unto the resurrection of eternal damnation.
We believe in the spiritual unity
of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ.
